Job Summary
Safely transport students to and from designated pick-up points within attendance areas, operating a school vehicle in accordance with state laws and district policies. Complete the state department of education and district driver training program while maintaining the required license and a good driving record. Ensure student safety during all transportation and adhere to schedule constraints (part-time, split shifts).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Nebraska operators permit or federal commercial driver's license (CDL) if required and school transportation vehicle operator's permit
- Pass Level I and Level II Student Transportation certification requirements
- Must submit internal application if current employee; external application otherwise
