Job Summary
Conduct classified substitute work across various Coos Bay School District buildings, covering roles such as Educational Assistant, Library Clerk, or Custodial staff depending on vacancy. Lead students in group and individual activities while managing instructional and behavioral needs. Utilize office technology and communicate effectively with students, families, and diverse staff backgrounds. Maintain flexibility to report to different schools as needed, adhering to physical requirements for lifting and standing in a standard classroom environment. Pass criminal background checks, Vector training, and drug screening to secure employment.

- Must successfully pass preemployment drug screening (screening does not include substances considered legal in the State of Oregon)
- Must be able to bend frequently
