Job Summary
Assist teachers in providing instruction to students with disabilities, including feeding, toileting, and transferring. Collect and prepare instructional materials, monitor student work, and implement behavior management techniques. Prepare classroom aids, games, and bulletin boards while assisting with physical therapy exercises and loading/unloading students from vehicles. Perform daily organizational duties, attend professional development, and respect student confidentiality. Work 7.5 hours per day at Washington Elementary starting August 2026, reporting to teachers and administrators.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Drivers License
- regular, dependable in-person attendance on the job

- 60 pound maximum lifting
- 1-50 ft. carrying
- Visual and auditory acuity for student supervisory functions

Desired Qualifications

- Understanding of basic reading and math skills
