Job Summary
Work beside the classroom teacher to offer structure, management, and a smooth flow of activities to ensure an environment suitable for learning. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, students, and school staff while communicating effectively orally and in writing. Operate a computer and organize time to prioritize tasks under frequent constraints. This part-time role requires six hours daily from Monday through Friday. Current employees must submit an internal application, while those transferring from other classifications must submit an external application.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, students and school staff
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to operate a computer
- Demonstrates the ability to organize time and prioritize tasks under frequent time constraints
