CLASSIFIED_Accompanist_Full_Time

Provide piano accompaniment for choirs, soloists, ensembles, and theatrical productions during rehearsals and performances. Collaborate with music directors to understand musical goals, sight-read music with accuracy, and adapt quickly to changes on the spot. Prepare and practice assigned music independently, support student vocalists and instrumentalists during practice, and provide recordings or play parts for student practice when appropriate. Attend all designated concerts, contests, festivals, and rehearsals while serving as a role model and positive community member. Work approximately 40 hours per week with hours varying by building or department. Adhere to all district policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold the code of ethics.
