Job Summary
Conduct engaging online dance sessions for students across various age groups, teaching classical techniques, postures, expressions, and choreography. Prepare tailored lesson plans and practice schedules while demonstrating movements clearly during virtual classes using platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. Evaluate student progress to provide feedback for improvement and ensure a disciplined, positive learning atmosphere. Coordinate with the academic team for scheduling and updates. Requires 1–5 years of experience in an Indian classical dance form with formal certification. Compensation is based on experience and session volume.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 5 years of teaching experience in any Indian classical dance form
- Formal training or certification in a recognized classical dance style
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to conduct interactive classes using online platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Passionate about teaching and preserving traditional dance forms
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in preparing students for performances or examinations
- Ability to choreograph short pieces for online showcases or cultural events
