Job Summary
Provide input into the strategic direction of the Aerospace portfolio and identify opportunities to enhance the proposition and strategic goals. Manage the designated business by generating and maintaining broker and client relationships while ensuring risks are written within agreed parameters. Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and ceded teams to refine the portfolio, support the adoption of Convex technology, and mentor junior members to drive engagement and retention. Conduct underwriting in accordance with the Company's Business Ethics policy and all regulated entities.
Required Qualifications
- A robust track record as an Aviation Underwriter within the London market
- Able to bring a strategic view to the portfolio including identifying opportunities for growth
- Excellent numeric and analytical skills with a thoughtful, yet commercial approach to underwriting
- Broad intellectual and technical expertise, ideally across Aviation and various geographical areas
- Well-rounded communication skills, both written and orally
