Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to move raw donations and salvage between stores, ensuring safe product movement and adherence to load limits. Maintain required maintenance records, report unsafe vehicle conditions, and direct the truck helper if assigned. Communicate professionally with supervisors and donors; anticipate evenings and/or weekends work. Utilize flat carts and pallet jacks to load/drop off merchandise while following safety policies and sanitizing/disinfecting procedures for donations. Possess a Class D license and, if required, forklift certification at specific locations. This role emphasizes safe operation, customer communication, adherence to policies, and potential supplementary duties as assigned by supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Mississippi State Driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean DMV driving record.
- Must have Class D license.
- Open availability.
- Ability to transfer to other working locations, as directed by management.
- Maintains a valid driver license and acceptable MVR.
- Promotes and demonstrates ethical practices in all activities.
