Job Summary
Safely recover, transport, and stage autonomous vehicles using a Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed tow truck in the Los Angeles area. Operate rollback and flatbed equipment including winches, soft straps, tie-downs, and wheel securement systems for vehicles weighing 10,001 to 26,000 lbs. Perform roadside recovery, loading, unloading, and staging operations while conducting pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections. Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and Hours of Service, complete driving logs and delivery documentation, and handle basic servicing like refueling and tire checks. Work full-time Monday through Friday shifts, either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Valid Medical Examiner Certificate (MEC)
- Ability to safely work around traffic and roadside recovery environments
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- CDL
- 4–6 years of professional flatbed towing and vehicle recovery experience
- Experience operating rollback or flatbed tow trucks
- Experience with vehicle recovery, winching, loading, unloading, and securement procedures
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
