Job Summary
Provides classroom and teacher support by working with small groups and individual students in a Chinese Immersion kindergarten class under the supervision of the licensed teacher. Supervise students in the classroom, lunchroom, and recess setting during the classroom teacher's lunch break and prep period.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
- Experience working with elementary age students
- Evidence of strong math and reading skills
- Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students
- Demonstrated ability to take direction
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Clear communication in speaking and writing
