Job Summary
Operate an automatic straight truck (12,000–20,000 lb. GVW) on local routes delivering cooking oil to commercial kitchens, safely connecting hoses to customer tanks for loading and unloading. Monitor tank levels to prevent oil outs, use company-issued iPhone apps for route tracking and invoicing, and communicate clearly with customers while adhering to DOT, OSHA, and HACCP safety standards. Work 4/10 shifts from 9:00 PM to Saturday with up to one overnight stay per week. Maintain a clean driving record with no speeding over 100 mph in the past five years and pass a DOT-mandated drug test.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, bending, twisting, etc.)
- Safe Driving Record (Past 36 Months): Limited MVR moving violations or PSP report violations
- Zero Tolerance (Past 5 Years): No speeding over 100 mph
- Subject to passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test
- Subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing after hire
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED
- 2+ years of CDL-regulated driving experience
- Bilingual
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing basic troubleshooting
