Job Summary
Collect and deliver medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations while operating 26-foot box trucks safely. Load and unload containers, prioritizing your truck organization per schedule and needs. Manage routes under leadership direction, ensuring on-time deliveries and communicating any changes or challenges immediately. Comply with DOT regulations by logging hours and completing roadside inspections. Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships at each stop. This full-time, permanent role requires a Class B license, clean driving record, and experience with pre-trip evaluations. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 5 AM to 3 PM, with opportunities for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Class B license with a clean driving record and valid medical card
- Experience operating 26 foot box truck or larger
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
- Proven longevity in past employment
- On time delivery practices
- Must be able to lift heavy items (implied by 'Heavy lifting!' and role context)
- Must be available for consistent work hours –M-F position 1st Shift (5AM to 3PM)
