Job Summary
Deliver products to customer work sites and intercompany transfers while maintaining all required DOT, Cal OSHA, and OSHA documentation and logs. Safely drive under varying weather and traffic conditions, performing any necessary warehouse functions as assigned by the supervisor. Maintain an active Class B or Class A driver's license and Medical Examiner's Card, working a Monday-Friday schedule with weekend availability as needed. This Safety Sensitive position requires a clean driving record of at least three to five years and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent driving knowledge of the assigned route/s
- Clean driving record for a minimum of 3-5 years
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter who can work under minimal supervision
- Able to timely maintain all required DOT and documentation and/or logs, Cal OSHA, and OSHA safety requirements and inspections
- Active Medical Examiner's Card
- Active Class B or Class A driver's license
- Able to work a Monday-Friday work schedule and work weekends when needed
- Able to lift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to stoop, bend, twist and spend prolonged hours sitting and driving
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Safely drive under all types of driving conditions that can change based on weather conditions and/or traffic
- This job is designated a Safety Sensitive position per DOT regulations
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of driving experience driving under a Commercial Class B or A driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred
- Current and active forklift certification (sit down forlift) preferred
