Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on medium to heavy-duty diesel trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. Diagnose root causes of failures, install onboard computers, and inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings. Complete thorough documentation of work orders and parts usage through the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Ensure all equipment maintains required licensing and registration before roadworthiness. Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication using hand and power tools. Road call services are performed as needed. This 2nd shift role operates a 4-day week from Sunday to Wednesday, with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits package available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
