Job Summary
Load flooring bundles from the warehouse, transport them to customer locations, and unload the orders while adhering to site safety protocols. Perform daily pre-trip inspections of the truck, alerting the Ops Manager to any maintenance or damage issues. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy, then return paperwork and payments to the Ops Manager. Safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds repetitively, maintain current drivers and forklift certifications, and follow all DOT and HFP safety protocols. Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules while abiding by all transportation laws. Maintain log books and documentation as required.
Required Qualifications
- Class B driver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- DOT medical certification
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Maintain current drivers and forklift certifications
- Safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds repetitively
- Abiding by all transportation laws
- Maintain safe driving record
- Maintain log books and other documentation as set forth by the DOT and HFP
