Class B CDL - Truck Driver

Job Summary
Delivery drivers at Richards Building Supply safely deliver products to job sites and assist with unloading materials; require CDL Class B (or A with B endorsement) and ability to operate flatbed-related equipment. Role includes loading/unloading trucks, receiving materials, and processing inventory; typical schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 A.M.–4:00 P.M. with home every night; offers benefits and 401K, bonus opportunities, and career advancement. Candidate should have 1 year of CDL B driving or 2 years of CDL A driving experience, ability to drive a manual transmission, current DOT medical card, clean driving record, be at least 21, and pass background and pre-employment DOT drug screen; lifting 50–100 lbs and occasional heavier lifting required; training available for certain equipment.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license
- 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
- Flatbed, Moffett, Boom Truck, Forklift, and/or Crane operating experience strongly preferred
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Heavy lifting experience
- Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
- Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day
