Job Summary
Transport freight, load, and unload products between service centers and customers while performing pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer. Properly document freight control processes, read shipping papers, and affix correct hazardous materials placards as needed. Safely operate a forklift to load and unload products when indicated and assist customers in preparing shipping documents. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to operational procedures contained in the Driver/Dockworker Manual. Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts, and assignments. Valid Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement required. Full-time daytime local work with competitive weekly pay starting at $26.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 18 months of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Must be available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignments
Additional Requirements
- At least 22 years of age
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operation in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
