Job Summary
Transport freight, load and unload products between service centers and customers while performing pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer. Safely operate a forklift to load and unload products when indicated, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and properly document all freight control processes. Read shipping papers, hazardous materials markings, and affix correct placards as necessary. Assist customers with shipping paper preparation and interact with internal and external customers. Participate in training programs and adhere to operational guidelines. Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 18 months of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Must be available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignments
