Job Summary
Financial Analyst role focusing on structured financial analysis including billing validation, Budget vs Actual reporting, forecasting support, and month-over-month variance analysis. Responsibilities include reconciling invoices against contracts, identifying discrepancies, delivering revenue forecasts, developing cost and pricing models to support service lines, partnering with Project Managers for financial validation and reporting, managing high-volume datasets with quality control, and producing ad-hoc reports and analyses. Requires strong analytical capabilities, knowledge of accounting concepts, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to support financial decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent education/experience
- 5+ years of work experience in finance or accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas) and reporting
- Experience with financial forecasting and modelling
- Working knowledge of SAP accounting software (preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with A/P, A/R and G/L accounting and reporting (preferred)
