Job Summary
Load and unload 90% of freight on flatbed, tanker, and pneumatic trailers, with 5% live load/unload and 25% tarping duties. Drive Class A semi-trucks including Freightliners, Macks, and Peterbilts across local routes averaging 1,200 to 1,800 miles per week. Operate mostly manual trucks governed at 70 mph during day shifts. Work a 4 days on, 3 days off rotation with no guaranteed weekends home. Requires Class A license with Tank Vehicles endorsement and 12 months tractor trailer experience. Pay ranges from $900 to $1,100 weekly based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (E) No Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only
- Must have (N) Tank Vehicles endorsement at time of hire
- 12 months Tractor Trailer experience
