Job Summary
Operate a commercial vehicle to transport and deliver milk and dairy products to scheduled destinations while ensuring loads are secure and verifying assigned routes. Conduct vehicle inspections before and after use, complete preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot malfunctions to maintain safe vehicle conditions. Interface with customers in a friendly, professional manner to deliver superior service and demonstrate core values. Collect and submit accurate route settlement paperwork, obtain delivery tickets and load sheets, and complete driver logs. Maintain a safe work environment by promoting proper safety behavior and a continuous improvement mindset. Work swing shifts with excellent attendance and punctuality, requiring a valid Class A license, over two years of over-the-road experience, and the ability to read maps.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class A license and clean DMV record
- Over 2 years of previous over the road experience
- Must be willing to work any shift
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
