Job Summary
Class A Tractor Truck Driver responsible for safe, reliable transportation to support company operations and customer requirements. Plan and coordinate routes to maximize efficiency and fuel usage; assist with loading/unloading; maintain DOT documentation and safety records; operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and internal policies; conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic preventive maintenance; serve as a professional liaison with customers and coordinate with Sales and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, and valid CDL; DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR requirements. 1 year OTR experience required, 3 years preferred; hazardous waste hauling experience preferred. Onsite work schedule: Mon–Fri.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) appropriate for the assigned vehicle
- Ability to meet DOT physical examination, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements
- OTR Commercial driving experience with hazardous waste hauling experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend written instructions and complete required documentation accurately
- Experience: 1 year required, 3 years preferred in OTR driving (hazardous waste hauling preferred)
