Job Summary
Deliver product with a tractor/trailer between the Grand Rapids depot and cross docks in Saginaw, Highland Park, Detroit, Kalamazoo, Gaylord, and Traverse City. Perform pre/post trip inspections, unload product, assist in separating and staging loads, and operate power and manual pallet jacks or hi-lo equipment. Take loads to other depots to cover other drivers and perform area clean-up as needed. Work Sunday through Thursday with start times between 9 P.M. and 12 A.M., with occasional Fridays possible during holidays. Lift up to 55 pounds in all weather conditions while adhering to D.O.T. and State regulations including HOS and ELD compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age and older
- Chauffer and CDL A license with airbrake endorsement
- Hi-Lo and Pallet Jack experience
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to take direction and work independently
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.
- Acceptable driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
