Job Summary
Class A CDL Route Driver responsible for loading, hauling and delivering food waste on intra- and interstate routes with 15-25 stops per day; operates 30-45' open-top/dump trailers across a regional footprint; drives manual and automatic transmissions per DOT/local laws; uses pallet jack and pressure washer; performs pre- and post-trip inspections; conducts basic maintenance; maintains documentation; uses electronic logs; communicates with customers and vendors; and works flexible hours with potential up to 60 hours in a 7-day week or 70 hours in 8 days. Must meet safety requirements and participate in weekly safety calls/trainings; equipment and route assignments may change as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License
- Clean MVR and PSP
- Must be at least 23 years old with minimum 2 years full-time tractor-trailer experience OR 21 years old with 1 year experience if Truck Driving School graduate or 1 year of Military experience
- Stable work history
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
