Job Summary
Haul dry bulk materials on regional routes (NC, TN, GA, KY, SC) with a Class A tractor-trailer as an owner-operator for Feldspar Trucking/Trimac. Responsibilities include regional pickups/destinations within listed states, Monday–Friday loads, and operating with Trimac dump trailers. Compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and weekly pay structured at $5,000–$7,000 gross; 64% of haul using Trimac dump trailer; 72% of haul using own dump trailer; 90% of fuel surcharge. Requirements: valid Class A CDL, 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience, pass Trimac safety assessment, mountain and winter driving experience, and a clean driving record as specified (no recent violations or major accidents). Perks include experienced management/dispatch, top-tier compensation, fuel card, tolls reimbursed, and company-installed ELDs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- A major preventable accident
- Two or more moving convictions
