Job Summary
Haul dry bulk materials on regional routes using end-dump trailers for Feldspar/gypsum sand and other aggregates. Routes cover pickup points in NC, TN, GA, KY, SC with destination points in the same states; typical schedule is Monday-Friday. Requires a valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, mountain and winter driving experience, and successful completion of Trimac safety assessment. Benefits include a $5,000 sign-on bonus, weekly gross pay ranging from $5,000 to $7,000, and fuel surcharge considerations; operates with a focus on safety and experienced management/dispatch support; equipment and reimbursement perks include fuel cards, toll reimbursement, and company-installed ELDs. Base location appears to be Mount Ulla, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- A major preventable accident
- Mount Ulla, NC is the location for primary operations
