Job Summary
Haul dry bulk materials on regional routes (NC/TN/GA/KY/SC) as a Class A owner-operator end-dump for Feldspar Trucking, a Trimac division. Responsibilities include operating a tractor-trailer with a dump trailer, picking up and delivering to regional destinations, and adhering to safety standards. Requires a valid Class A CDL, 2+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, mountain and winter driving experience, and a clean safety record; compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and weekly pay in the range of $5,000–$7,000 gross. Benefits include fuel surcharges, toll reimbursements, and company-installed ELDs. Routes are primarily Monday–Friday within NC, TN, GA, KY, and SC.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- A major preventable accident
- Two or more moving convictions
