Job Summary
Owner-operator Class A truck driver needed for regional dry bulk hauling (end-dump trailers) with Trimac/Feldspar Trucking. Role involves hauling sand, limestone, feldspar, and gypsum on regional routes across NC, TN, GA, KY, and SC, typically Monday–Friday. Compensation ranges from $5,000 to $7,000 per week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus; fuel surcharges are included and tolls are reimbursed. Company provides experienced management/dispatch, new compensation at industry-top levels, and company-installed ELDs. Requires valid Class A CDL, 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, mountain and winter driving experience, plus clean driving history with no major incidents in the past seven years. Location focus centers on North Carolina and neighboring states within the regional network.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Must pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without DUI or related violations
- Past 3 years without license suspensions related to drugs/alcohol
- No major preventable accidents
- Two or more moving convictions
