Job Summary
Owner Operator Class A driver for Feldspar Trucking (Trimac division), regional dry bulk hauling (sand, limestone, feldspar, gypsum) with Trimac dump trailer focus. Routes cover NC, TN, GA, KY, and SC with Monday–Friday loads. Requires 2+ years tractor-trailer experience, valid Class A CDL, mountain and winter driving experience, and a Trimac safety assessment. Compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and weekly gross pay in the $5k–$7k range; benefits include fuel card, tolls reimbursement, and company-installed ELDs. Safety commitments govern operations and management/dispatch support is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- A preventable rollover or fatality crash
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- A major preventable accident
- Two or more moving convictions
