Job Summary
Hauling dry bulk materials (sand, limestone, feldspar, gypsum) on regional routes with Pick Up Points in NC, TN, GA, KY, SC and Destination Points in NC, TN, GA, KY, SC. Monday–Friday loads. Requires a valid Class A CDL and 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, mountain and winter driving experience, and a Trimac safety assessment. Compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus with weekly pay range of $5,000–$7,000 (gross), 64% of haul using Trimac dump trailer, 72% of haul using own dump trailer, and 90% fuel surcharge. Safety commitments emphasize proactive safety culture and support from experienced management and dispatch teams.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 7 years without: A preventable rollover or fatality crash
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- Past 3 years without: A major preventable accident
- Two or more moving convictions
