Owner Operator with a Class A CDL to haul dry bulk materials on regional routes (NC, TN, GA, KY, SC) for Feldspar Trucking/Trimac. Role involves Monday–Friday loads using a dump trailer, with 64% of haul using Trimac dump trailers and 72% using own dump trailer; 90% of fuel surcharge. Compensation ranges from $5,000 to $7,000 per week (gross). Safety-focused environment with experienced management/dispatch, tolls reimbursed, and company-installed ELDs. Must have mountain and winter driving experience, 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, and pass safety assessment. Based in Sedalia, NC with regional travel across listed destinations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without driving violations involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 3 years without license suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol or a record indicating disregard for public safety
- A major preventable accident
- Two or more moving convictions
