Job Summary
Owner Operator Class A hauling dry bulk materials on regional routes from Maiden, NC. Drive to destinations across NC/TN/GA/KY/SC with Monday–Friday loads. Responsibilities include hauling sand, limestone, feldspar, and gypsum using a dump trailer, with a focus on safety and adherence to Trimac safety standards. Requires Valid Class A CDL, 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, mountain and winter driving experience, and a clean safety record. Compensation reflects strong weekly earnings and a sign-on bonus opportunity, with fuel surcharge benefits and toll reimbursement. You’ll work with experienced management and dispatch teams to execute regional routes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without driving violations involving alcohol or illegal substances
- Past 3 years without license suspensions involving drugs or alcohol or a record indicating disregard for public safety
- Two or more moving convictions
