Job Summary
Owner-Operator/Class A driver with Trimac/Feldspar Trucking seeks independent operators for regional dry bulk hauls (sand, limestone, feldspar, gypsum) on Monday–Friday routes across NC/SC/TN/KY/GA. Responsibilities include hauling dry bulk materials with end-dump trailers, using Trimac dump trailers and own trailers, and meeting safety standards and assessments. Compensation is pay-per-week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus; 64% haul share with a high fuel surcharge, and tolls reimbursed. Must have mountain and winter driving experience, clean safety record, and valid Class A CDL.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without driving violations involving illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 7 years without a preventable rollover or fatality crash
- Past 3 years without license suspensions involving drugs or alcohol or a record indicating disregard for public safety
- Major preventable accident
