Job Summary
Operate Class A end-dump trucks hauling dry bulk materials (sand, limestone, feldspar, gypsum) on regional routes across NC/ TN/ GA/ KY/ SC with Trimac dump trailers or owner trailers. Responsibilities include transporting bulk materials to designated pickup/destination points on Monday–Friday schedules, maintaining safety standards (Trimac safety assessment completed), and leveraging company–provided resources (fuel surcharge, toll reimbursements, ELDs). Compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on and weekly pay between $5,000–$7,000 gross, with pay structure reflecting regional hauling and fuel considerations. The role requires two years of tractor-trailer experience, mountain and winter driving experience, and a clean safety/criminal history over defined lookbacks; equipment and safety commitments emphasize safety, disciplined operation, and collaboration with experienced management and dispatch teams.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without driving violations involving alcohol or illegal substances
- Past 3 years without license suspensions involving drug/alcohol or flags of public safety concerns
- Major preventable accident
- Two or more moving infractions
