Job Summary
Haul dry bulk materials on regional routes for Feldspar Trucking (Trimac) with a Class A tractor-trailer during Monday–Friday operations. Transportation of sand, limestone, feldspar, and gypsum across NC, TN, GA, KY, and SC. Driver is responsible for end-dump operations on regional routes, with a pay scale of $5,000–$7,000 per week, and a breakdown indicating 64% of haul using Trimac dump trailers and 72% using own dump trailers, plus a 90% fuel surcharge. The role requires mountain and winter driving experience, and adherence to Trimac safety assessments and performance standards. Located in Selma, North Carolina, with in-person duties at the terminal or client sites.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
Additional Requirements
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- A preventable rollover or fatality crash
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- A major preventable accident
- Two or more moving convictions
