Job Summary
Hauling dry bulk materials (sand, limestone, feldspar, gypsum) on regional routes from Pick Up Points in NC, TN, GA, KY, SC to Destination Points in NC, TN, GA, KY, SC. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday. Requires a Valid Class A CDL and 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, with mountain and winter driving experience and a safety-record acceptable to Trimac. Compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus with pay ranging from $5,000 to $7,000 per week (gross). Perks include fuel surcharge, tolls reimbursed, company-installed ELDs, and a management/dispatch team focused on safety. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Must have mountain driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- A preventable rollover or fatality crash
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- A major preventable accident
- Two or more moving convictions
