Job Summary
Operate a semi-tractor trailer to safely deliver precast concrete walls to job sites in KY, IN, and OH, ensuring all DOT rules and traffic laws are followed. Perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, and fasten A frames for the return trip to the Burlington, KY yard. Assist the crane operator by rigging panels during unloading and coordinate with the installation crew to position walls correctly. Maintain accurate driving records, keep the truck clean, and communicate immediately with the maintenance manager regarding repairs. Work closely with supervisors to handle multiple tasks as a team player in a small business environment.
Required Qualifications
- valid Class A commercial driver license
- Knowledge of terminology is customarily used in construction
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Flexibility with working hours
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
