Job Summary
Local CDL driver responsible for safely driving the most efficient route to job sites, loading/unloading materials on trucks, and assisting with crane/piggyback operations as needed. Drives and maintains vehicles, adheres to safety regulations, and upholds company policies while representing Gulfeagle on job sites. The role includes loading/unloading, material handling, performing daily vehicle inspections, and adhering to drug screening requirements; offers a competitive sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits, with home every night and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B License with clear MVR and DOT record
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Current and valid Medical Certification Card
- Consecutive driving experience in a CDL position
- High degree of attention and dexterity in vehicle control
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors under adverse weather
- Physical ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
- Ability to climb a rooftop and stack materials (location based)
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to climb a 40’ ladder (location based)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S
- Pass company-required drug screening; random drug testing per policy
- Preferred: experience in material handling; forklift experience; crane operation certification
