Job Summary
Load and unload fuel using the truck's transfer pump, conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate driving logs in compliance with DOT regulations. Deliver product to customer sites including convenience stores, oilfields, trucking companies, railroad yards, and drilling rigs while communicating effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules. Follow all applicable federal, state, local, and company safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Work on a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays, with a requirement to lift 50+ lbs and work extended hours both indoors and outdoors.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and X (Hazmat) endorsements
- Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience, with at least 1 year driving a tanker
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, and work extended hours both indoors and outdoors
- Willingness to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Current and valid DOT medical card
- Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past 3 years)
- Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Must pass background check and drug screening
