Job Summary
Collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers while operating company vehicles up to 53ft tractor trailers across regional routes in Colorado and surrounding states. Manage assigned local deliveries, conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain DOT compliance through accurate logging and roadside checks. Load and unload containers as needed, organize truck priorities based on route demands, and communicate any schedule changes to customers. Travel on varied routes including occasional overnight and multi-day trips, building positive relationships with healthcare clients through professional service. Full-time permanent role with consistent M-F hours, offering a $3k sign-on bonus and competitive hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A license with a clean driving record and DOT medical card
- Experience operating vehicles up to 53'
- Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
- Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers
- Customer‐focused mindset with a flexible, can‐do attitude
- Commitment to safe driving and on‐time delivery practices
- Ability and willingness to travel on varying regional routes, including overnight stays when required
- Must be able to lift heavy containers (heavy lifting required)
