Job Summary
Class A Linehaul Driver responsible for transferring freight between our customer/terminal locations, hooking and unhooking trailers, and completing required DOT paperwork. Candidate must conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances, and adhere to government regulations and company procedures. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliability with home daily scheduling and weekends off, and involves routes within the Western and Central United States. Responsibilities include ensuring shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection, following dispatch directions, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Must be comfortable with lengthy drives, ability to handle physical tasks related to securing loads, and willingness to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements if not already held.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years of age
- 1 year of commercial driving experience
- No DUI’s or DWI’s in past 3 years
- No more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain
