Job Summary
Lead Support serves as the Area Manager’s primary operational partner and second-in-charge, providing day-to-day frontline support to drivers and ensuring seamless execution of service operations. Responsibilities include resolving service issues, coordinating route coverage, training and retraining drivers, managing service cases with documentation and timely resolution, onboarding and field training for new drivers, supporting route planning, optimizing routing with the Logistics Manager and Area Manager, ensuring safety/compliance/productivity, investigating service failures and coordinating repairs, and maintaining clear communication between drivers, dispatch, and management. Requires experience supporting CDL drivers, familiarity with routing and transportation software, strong problem-solving, communication, coaching, and a customer-focused mindset; travel and field work across AZ, NV, NM, with office-based tasks (Excel, billing, Samsara, Roadnet). Preferred Associates degree or higher, valid driver’s license, 2-3 years of experience, Class A CDL a plus, and dispatching experience.
