Job Summary
Lead Support Driver serves as the Area Manager’s #2, providing day-to-day frontline support to CDL drivers, coordinating route coverage, training drivers, resolving service issues, and ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Acts as a key communication link between drivers, dispatch, and management, with responsibilities including scheduling, tracing and closing service cases, onboarding and field training, and assisting with route optimization across AZ/NV/NM. Requires Associates degree or higher, valid driver’s license, 2-3 years of experience (CDL Class A a plus), and proficiency with routing software and office tools; travel is required; role blends office and field duties.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- 2-3 years of experience preferred
- Class A CDL is a plus
- Truck dispatching experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Able to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English
