Job Summary
Maintain and repair overhead distribution, string new wire, and install underground systems while operating bucket trucks and digger derricks safely. Perform energized and de-energized line work, climb poles, and set up service for customers in all weather conditions. Participate in on-call rotations, storm response, and after-hours restoration. Read construction drawings, conduct hazard assessments, and support training for apprentices. This Class A Lineman role requires Journeyman certification, a CDL-A, and three years of experience performing energized work. Required Qualifications
- Journeyman - Class A Lineman certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Lineman
- Experience performing energized and de-energized line work
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Valid CDL-A
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to obtain and maintain company-required safety and equipment certifications
- Ability to climb poles and work at elevated heights for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials and equipment consistent with industry standards
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Proficiency in operating bucket trucks, digger derricks, and related utility equipment
- Willingness to participate in storm restoration, emergency callouts, and extended-hour assignments
- Ability to travel regionally as needed for project or storm support
