Job Summary
Class A Flatbed Truck Driver role with R-K-Campf Transport offering Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer lanes. Home-time varies by lane: local home every night/weekends (Pittsburgh–Cleveland–Youngstown/Sharon); regional home most weeknights/weekends (Chicago, Indiana, Michigan; occasional NC/AR); OTR Reefer home most weekends with varied Midwest/Eastern runs. Compensation includes percentage pay with bonuses, annual earnings potential $60k–$110k, sign-on bonuses, paid holidays, vacation accrual, health/dental/vision options after 60 days, life insurance, and 24/7 maintenance support. Assigned late-model equipment, and a team environment with home-time options across positions. Requires Class A CDL, clean MVR, 2+ years experience (flatbed preferred), ability to tarp and secure cargo, DOT 70-hour rules compliance, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements
- Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment
- Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions
- Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain
- Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading
