Job Summary
Experienced Class A CDL drivers needed for Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer positions; home time varies by lane with local home every night; routes include a triangle between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Youngstown/Sharon; regional lanes include Chicago, Indiana, Michigan with occasional trips to North Carolina and Arkansas; OTR Reefer offers home most weekends with varied freight across the Midwest and Eastern states; compensation includes starting pay as a percentage of line haul (24-25%), average earnings $60,000–$110,000, bonuses for clean roadside inspections, driver referral, annual retention, holidays, and paid vacation; benefits include medical insurance after 60 days, life insurance, disability via Aflac, weekly pay, assigned trucks, and a team environment with good home-time options.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements
- Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment
- Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions
- Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain
- Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading
