Job Summary
Class A CDL driver roles across Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer with home-time options. Assigned late-model equipment, 24/7 maintenance support, and a team-focused environment. Routes include Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Youngstown area triangles, Chicago/Indiana/Michigan with occasional NC/Arkansas for regional flatbeds, and varied Midwest/Eastern freight for OTR Reefer. Includes earning potential of $60k–$110k annually, bonuses for clean roadside inspections and referrals, benefits after probation, and weekly pay. Responsibilities emphasize operating and maintaining equipment, cargo securement and tarping, BOL accuracy, DOT 70-hour rules, and thorough pre/post-trip inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements
- Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment
- Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions
- Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain
- Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading
