Job Summary
Class A Flatbed Truck Driver needed for Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer lanes. Home-time options include home every night or most weekends across specified routes (Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Youngstown/Sharon; Chicago/Indiana/Michigan; occasional runs to North Carolina and Arkansas). Assigned late-model equipment with 24/7 maintenance support. Competitive pay structure with incentives and benefits including weekly pay, holiday pay, vacation, medical insurance, and bonuses. Truck drivers must secure cargo, tarp loads, and use chains/binders; maintain ELD compliance; complete pre- and post-trip inspections; and uphold safety and paperwork standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements
- Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment
- Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions
- Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain
- Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading
