Job Summary
R-K-Campf Transport is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer positions. Roles include home-time variations with lanes such as Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Youngstown area triangles for Local Flatbed, regional runs to Chicago/Indiana/Michigan with occasional NC/AR for Regional Flatbed, and broader Midwest/Eastern runs for OTR Reefer. Compensation includes starting pay of 25% line haul (24% for training), annual earnings in the $60k–$110k range, bonuses, holidays, vacation, and benefits after eligibility. Assigned late-model equipment, 24/7 maintenance support, and a team-focused environment are highlighted; positions emphasize cargo securement, tarping, inspection, and adherence to DOT regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements
- Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment
- Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions
- Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain
- Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading
