Job Summary
Class A CDL driver for Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer positions. Local Flatbed: home every night/weekends with a triangle route between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and the Youngstown/Sharon areas. Regional Flatbed: home most weeknights/weekends with runs to Chicago, Indiana, Michigan and occasional lanes to North Carolina and Arkansas. OTR Reefer: home most weekends with varied freight across the Midwest and Eastern states. Compensation includes starting pay as a percentage of line haul, potential increases with longevity, annual earnings range of $60,000–$110,000, plus bonuses (inspection, referral, retention), paid holidays, vacation, medical and life insurance, disability options, and weekly pay. Requirements include 2+ years of Class A experience, flatbed experience preferred, ability to operate ELog, cargo securement skills, physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs, and strong paperwork accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements
- Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment
- Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions
- Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain
- Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading
